ELECTRICITY PRIME COST OPTIMIZATION POTENTIAL ASSESSMENT OF THE UKRAINIAN INTEGRATED POWER SYSTEM TAKING INTO ACCOUNT TECHNOLOGICAL LIMITATIONS

     The problem of optimal coverage of the load schedule  of the Ukrainian Integrated Power System formulated 
 and  solved in the form of the problem of choosing the best  load distribution of generating and cumulative 
 capacities,  taking into account technological limitations. 
 
    The obtained solution allows forecast the potential of  minimizing the weighted average cost of electricity  
 production at different forecast horizons – from an hour  to several  years. 
    An algorithm for using the obtained  results in the development of reference scenarios for the development 
 of energy systems also proposed.
