The model of mathematical programming with integer variables, the application of which provides search
of optimal modes of reserve and loading of accumulative capacities of power plants of Ukraine at coverage
of the daily schedule of electric load.
The technological restrictions on the required redundancy power and the capacity of high-power storage
devices that are used as part of the Ukrainian IPS, as well as the limits of the permissible change in the
power of the accumulation and generation units of the Ukrainian IPS were taken into account.
The model allows to investigate the optimization possibilities of the Ukrainian power system components
scheduling, the permissible limits parameters of generating and accumulating capacities, at which a stable
balanced operation of the energy system is possible.
The model can be applied in the problems of forming predictive balances of coverage of daily schedules
of electrical loads to study the prospects for short and long-term development of storage and generating
capacities of the national energy system, which is important in the context of the rapid growth of wind and
solar power plants.
